Brand Banjara's was launched in 1993 with a line of products predominantly comprising herbal powders. The aim was to provide quality herbal powders for beauty care in a largely unorganized category.
From the beginning, the focus has been on offering the purest of herbal ingredients without adding any fillers or preservatives. This enabled customers to use products in their most natural form and hence derive maximum benefit.
With the advent of the new millennium, the Indian personal care market grew rapidly. Consumers started demanding products that are not only safe to use but also have differentiated benefits. Banjara's recognized the growing opportunity to make herbal/natural products that deliver all the benefits that consumers want, without giving them a reason to worry about side effects and damage.
In 2012, a new strategic investor came on board, and the organization started to look into new frontiers of expansion. In 2013, a new manufacturing setup was put in place to ensure utmost product quality standards. In 2014, a new professional management team took over with the commitment to marry the principles of Ayurveda with the best of natural ingredients to deliver outstanding products to customers across the globe.
Today Banjara's has grown from 6 products to 36 products across 10 product categories. It is now a well-known brand and its products are available throughout South India and at several e-retailers and beauty parlors.
